Over sixty families from around the state, one from each county, will be named a “2009 Farm Family of the Year.” The families will be officially recognized in a ceremony at Farmfest. The families will be chosen based on their contributions to the agricultural industry, their communities and the state. Families receiving honors have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing and supporting agriculture and agricultural production.
