 The Farm Family Recognition Program has existed for over two decades and honors farm families from throughout Minnesota for their contributions to the agriculture industry and their local communities. Hosted by Tom Rothman, Minnesota Farm Network, the 2010 Farm Family Recognition program will take place on August 5th beginning at 1:30pm. The event will honor approximately seventy families from around the state, one from each county, who will be named a "2010 Farm Family of the Year."

 Along with Farmfest, University units sponsoring the recognition event include the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS), the University of Minnesota Extension, the Minnesota Agricultural Experiment Station and the College of Veterinary Medicine.
